This guiding question drives choreographer and director Rush Johnston's latest work, Unfettered Act II: Metamorphosis. Building upon the powerful foundation of Unfettered, premiered in Spring 2024, this second installment in the Unfettered Trilogy journeys deeper into the interplay of queerness and the divine. Through evocative movement and poignant storytelling, Johnston and Kaleid Dance Collective examine the themes of rebirth and renewal, drawing from the natural world as both a mirror and mentor in the process of change. With raw authenticity and moments of ethereal beauty, the work invites audiences to witness the profound act of metamorphosis, both personal and universal. While deeply connected to its predecessor, Unfettered Act II: Metamorphosis stands as a complete and independent experience, welcoming all audiences to engage with its thought-provoking exploration of transformation.   Guests are welcome to make sliding scale donations of $0-10 via Venmo to @rush-johnston or at this link:  https://venmo.com/u/Rush-Johnston For information on tact deductible donations, please contact kaleiddancecollective@gmail.com.   Doors open and event begins at 7:00 PM To visit, please RSVP and contact us via email at movement@barnard.edu at least 24 hours before the event.
