Unfettered: Act I
A Movement Lab popup showing presented by Rush Johnston
Saturday, March 16th | 9:00pm
For centuries, queerness, especially transness, has been linked to spiritual connection, leadership, and holiness dating back to the earliest civilizations in Mesopotamia. “Unfettered” is a multidisciplinary performance in three acts that explores the ever present relationship between transness and divinity through the lens of artist Rush Johnston’s transition and top surgery.
Act I is a one-hour solo performance which serves as a ceremonial preparation and rite of passage just one week before Rush’s top surgery.
The performance is free of charge. In lieu of tickets, please consider making a donation to Rush’s top surgery fund at this link:

Doors open at 8:45 PM and showing begins at 9:00 PM

If you RSVP before the event but you arrive late, we reserve the right to give your spot to someone on the waitlist.
Attendees who have not RSVP'd will be put on a standby waitlist if they arrive in-person before the event.
