Chunming’s installation focuses on the living experience of vision-impaired people, featuring their own life story and oral history interview clips. The VR experience presented is designed to reproduce the world through Chunming’s eyes and allow the audience to experience life with limited visions. On Monday April 24th through Thursday April 27th from 2:30-4:30pm two VR experiences will be available: Chunming's and her narrator, Joseph Lovett's documentary Going Blind. On Friday April 28th at 1:00pm, Lovett's documentary will be screened with a Q&A and VR viewing following.  VR Installation runs from 2:30-4:30pm Monday, April 24th through Thursday, April 27th. Documentary Screening will take place from 1:00-2:30pm on Friday, April 28th with Q&A / VR viewing from 2:30-4:30pm. Drop-ins are welcome! Bio: Image     Chunming Zheng is a current student of the Oral History Master of Arts program at Columbia. With her deep love for oral history and genuine interest in art, she hopes to bridge the two things together in her future projects. She believes that the voices and images of the ones who lived it has the incomparable power of sincerity. And artistic approaches will welcome a broader audience and inspire lasting contemplation. She is currently working on an oral history project focusing on disability studies. Chunming is thrilled to join the Movement Lab and explore the possibilities to deliver it with VR technology.
