The Movement Lab presents: the Artificial environments / environmental Intelligence Festival
The Ae/eI Festival features work-in-progress installations and performances in the Movement Lab every day during the week of February 21-28, all of which are free and open to the public. It is guided by the question, what happens when we close the loop on the constructed binary of nature and technology?
I AM ... TECHNOLOGY?
A Zine created by Kate Purdum
Available in the Movement Lab throughout the Festival
Using found materials from the local ecosystem(s) of NYC parks and urban greenspaces, ** I AM … TECHNOLOGY? ** will use the Zine medium to investigate the very definition(s) of “technology” and its interplay with the natural world, as well as the art/making process. Or it will evolve as I learn how to make it… Stay tuned.
