The Cite Black Barnard Faculty Installation will be an interactive showcase of works created by Black Barnard faculty, which includes excerpts from their texts; images relevant to their work; and a compilation of clips from their lectures and performances. This exhibit provides an immersive engagement in Barnard faculty work, which will create community around their important contributions.
The installation will be open Monday through Friday 12:00pm-5:00pm from February 28th to March 4th, 2022. Walk-ins are welcome!

Alex Watson is a fiction writer and poet from New York. She’s the executive editor of Apogee Journal, and for her work with Apogee she received the 2019 PEN/Nora Magid Prize for Literary Magazine editing. She’s a Lecturer at Barnard, where her work on inclusive digital assessment is supported by a Provost's Innovative Teaching Grant. Her fiction and poetry have appeared or are forthcoming in The South Carolina Review, The Common, The Bennington Review, The Rumpus, Yes Poetry, Nat. Brut., Redivider, PANK, and others. She has an MFA in fiction from Columbia and a BA in English from Brown.
